4@4 in the TASK room

We have come up with the term "4@4" in the TASK room.  Around four o'clock, TASKers can choose to do one of four things: homework, open centers, computers, or gross motor activities.

Homework time: Each child has filled out a homework contract with their parent letting them know how long they are expected to work on their homework while at The AoHV.

Computer time can be used to work on homework or other educational activities.  TASKers enjoy computer time together, while remembering to rotate every 15 minutes so that everybody gets a turn.

Open Centers:
We have tons of games and activities in the TASK room.  Here, four students have chosen to play Candy Land together!

Open Centers:
There are also many puzzles and books in our room.  Here, a student chose to work on a puzzle of the United States!

Gross Motor:
It is important for our students to have fun and get their energy out after school!  Even though playing outside isn't always an option, we have tons of inside games and activities that we can do together.  On this rainy day, all TASKers had fun playing the "freeze game" together! :)
