Space Exploration with the Adventure Science Center

We had a great day with Mr. Jason from the Adventure Science Center! He talked to us about gravity and how astronauts prepare for space! He showed us some experiments that helps astronauts in space and he let us make our own hypothesis during each experiment. Our favorite was when he used the air chamber to take all of the air out of the glass jar! We got to watch room temperature water boil without being hot! We also loved getting to race our “spaceships” around “earth” with marbles and a bowling ball on a spandex ring! He also taught us about force when we made our own rocket and he spun water upside down in a cup without spilling a drop! It was so cool! Some of us got to try on a dress up space suit! We also did an asteroid toss where Luke T. Got the most points!
