Somewhere over the rainbow!!

Hellloooooo science week!! Here in the AOHV TASK room we are LOVING  all the different experiments we are getting to do! We enjoy mixing colors and products to use as art supplies as well.

We are currently making a paper towel rainbow!! It can take up to 48 hours for it to complete so we will give an update when it is done. To make the rainbow at home you will need: paper towels, water, food coloring, and 6 clear/glass containers/mason jars.

Step 1: Fill all 6 containers with the same amount of water.
Step 2: In 3 separate containers add food coloring (red,blue,and yellow)
Step 3: Hose the paper towel through all 6 containers (starting with red and ending with clear)
Step 4: patiently wait 48 hours for your results!!
 
It was amazing to see how much it had grown during the night before and watching my friends walk in and gasp was awesome!!
